AGM 2010 Information

The AFA’s 2010 AGM has been scheduled for Saturday the 21st August commencing at 7.30 pm.

Members will receive papers for the AGM by post by mid July. The Papers will include explanations of the 5 Rule change ballots that will be before members for postal vote. All members are encouraged to carefully read the explanation of the proposed amendments and to complete the Ballot form include with the papers and return it to the AFA Post Office Box (P.O Box 4179 Pitt Town NSW 2756) by no later than COB Friday 6th August.

If any member wishes to place any Motion on the Agenda for the AGM then they need to submit that Motion and a support statement explaining the Motion, to the AFA Secretary by no later than COB Friday 6th August. Any Motions received by this date will be presented to the members at the AGM for ballot.

Nomination forms for the 2010/2011 Committee are available on the AFA Web and will be included in the posted papers. All nominations need to be submitted to the AFA Secretary by no later than COB Friday 13th August. Ballots for any contested positions will be conducted at the AGM.

Minutes of the 2009 AGM will be included in the papers as will details of the approved venues in each State.
