FINAL EOI for the 2025 FLYBALL NATIONALS

A second invitation for EOI for Clubs to submit to host the 2025 Nationals closed on 31 December 2024. As no EOIs were received the AFA Committee on Monday 6 January discussed whether Nationals will still be held this year.

It was agreed that a final invitation for EOI be forwarded to all Clubs and Members with a closing date of 31 January 2025. The AFA Committee will consider any EOIs received at its meeting on Monday 3 February 2025.

The AFA Committee has decided that if no EOIs are submitted then the 2025 Nationals will not be held. The AFA Committee is not willing to organise the Nationals as it did in 2023.

The AFA committee understand that hosting nationals is no small undertaking and want to ensure clubs are aware of the support options available to clubs should they consider hosting.

The AFA contributes up to $3,000 towards divisional medals.
Bids for nationals are not limited to singular clubs; clubs can work together and submit bids as a joint venture.
The AFA is happy to financially assist* with any club(s) interested in hosting but don’t feel they can financially support it.
The AFA is happy to assist and support the hosting club throughout the process of hosting.

*Some financial options are presented within the policy below, other financial arrangements may be considered by the committee as well.
