Ezri was a Border Collie owned by Ian Gauntlett and ran with the Croydon Rockets for her whole career. She started flyball in January 2001 at Wonthaggi and very quickly became an integral part of the Croydon Rocket Scientists with Astro, Jeddah, Jagger and Taffie winning several National championships and holding the record time for a long period. Ezri and the team regularly travelled interstate to race and she ran at times as a height dog at a jump height of 13”. At the Portland competition held in June 2010 she gained 4,000 title points being the first dog in the AFA to do so. She was honoured by the AFA with having the title for gaining 4,000 points named after her. She finally retired from flyball racing in April 2012 after gaining 4,453 points. She passed away in March 2015. |

781 points prior to 01.01.06 120 comps from 26.1.06 to 15.3.15 where he reached 4001 points at Hounds in the Hills . He retired at this comp. Moby was diagnosed with a brain tumour in August 2011, which made him blind in his left eye ( which was kept at bay with drugs ) he was also diagnosed with a cataract in his right eye which was removed by surgery in July 2012. As a consequence he missed a year of flyball Moby was the 2nd dog in Australia behind Ezri to receive the Ezri award and the first NSW dog to receive Australian dog flyball grand champion and Ezri awards. Moby received the Ezri award with limited sight in his right eye so for safety reasons we retired him. Moby left us peacefully in the loving arms of his Mum and Dad on 28.1.18. At 15 years and 10 months. One great little height dog. |

Bundy was one of the dogs in the first Budwiser litter born 18th December 2004. He quickly took to flyball as a sport and started his racing career at the Nowra Show competition in Feb 2006. Bundy was part of two Division 1 National Championship winning teams with Norwest Flyball and was also a member of one of the Teams in the 2009 World Dog Games. Over his career he accumulated 4498 points and became the highest point scoring dog in Australian Flyball. Bundy suffered a stroke shortly after the March 2018 Hounds in the Hills Competition - his last competition. He recovered well from the stroke and enjoyed retirement up until his passing in July 2019. A true gentleman of the sport. |

Banjo came from Mudgee as a pound puppy. He was 10 weeks old when we picked him up. He was desexed 2 days before. We had him home for 5 days when he became quite listless and very hot. I took him to our vet, he was placed on a drip straight away, and stayed overnight. The next morning, I got a call to say he had Parvo Virus and was in a very serious condition. Over the next 4 days I was told by our vet that he was incredibly sick and may not make it. |

Jack’s first ever competition was Hounds in the Hills, held on 26/03/2006. Jack earned 21 x points that day, not bad for his first ever competition! The most points he ever earnt was back on 03/07/2010, at the Bounding on the Border competition in QLD. 73 x points!! We won the most beautiful rosette that day. By far the proudest ever moments for me as his Mum are his running start dog at the World Dog Games at Acer Arena. He ran 4.6 seconds every run, not bad for a 7” height dog mini poodle. Him running with Pebbles in Team 1 & winning division 1 at the Nationals and finally him running in pairs with one of his greatest friends Pjevs and Lisa Pederson at Sydney Royal. He was running 4.6/4.7 that whole day. Congratulations to a champion, Jackie Chan retired on 11/03/2018 at Hounds in the Hills, the very first Competition he started at. Rest in Peace Jackie Chan, always playing flyball in my heart & over the rainbow bridge xx |

History: |

I was Blizzards second home, rescuing her from a show home at 10 months of age. She was pristine white when she came, and hasn’t gone back that way since! She is no show pony, so I can completely understand why she was a failure as a show dog! She was trained to do a full run in flyball in about 4 months, but took her time perfecting her passing. She hasn’t stopped since, and is one of those “Flyball dogs for dummies” in that she has had a million handlers over the years, even teaching the young kids how to run her. Kylie White was the one to run her on her 4000 point run, a flyball legend in her own right. A special height dog and loves to still run flyball. |

Work in Progress – probably too stubborn to die |
|
History: |
||
Easily the most stubborn dog I have ever had to work with! Started training at St George Flyball and was pretty much told she wouldn’t make it as a flyball dog as after 6 months she couldn’t jump over 4 jumps in a row, surely its easier to go around??? Stubborn to a fault, so is her owner, which made it all the more reason to get her up and racing. She made it eventually in about 12 months, and has never put a paw wrong since, known for her reliability, and being unflappable, even when she has been t boned by another dog crossing over, rolled, got up, looked around like “where am I” turned around and came back over all 4 jumps back to her handler. Tough as! Reliably slow, her PB was 5.9ish, passing onto her bestie Kobie the Kelpie, hates all dogs that are faster than her, and gives them a growl on passing. Known as the mop dog, easily recognisable and an ambassador to the sport, proudly still racing at nearly 13 years of age. Blizzard and Cookie Monster live together, along with little “brother” Cool Beanz. First Family in Australia to have 2 Ezri titled dogs still competing. |
